Who We Are
Cascade Ambulance Service, Inc. was formed by a group of Whatcom County residents whose experiences in the Fire and Emergency Medical Services told them that there was a need for an alternative to what was currently available.
To provide the highest level of non-emergency, emergency medical, and patient transportation services available. We provide these services in a professional manner while maintaining the dignity and providing compassion to those we serve.
We can achieve that mission only due to the excellence of our professional staff. Our crews are comprised of experienced Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s). Virtually all our EMT’s have extensive Fire Service experience and all are trained in the use of specialized emergency medical life-saving equipment. We also work very closely with many Air Ambulance agencies providing a continuation of the Critical Care Services that they provide throughout the Great Northwest as well as the Western United States.

Our Ambulance Crews are available twenty-four hours per day, year-round and in all weather, providing essential services to the residents of Northwest Washington. Whether it is an urgent trip to the Emergency Room, a discharge home from the hospital, or a long-distance transfer to an out-of-state hospital, we are always there to meet your needs.
Our Ferndale office and trained Dispatch Staff are dedicated in assisting you during trying times. They can make appropriate transportation arrangements, often interfacing with other healthcare providers to ensure that your unique needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. They will assist you in navigating through the complex billing processes as we understand that you may be faced with a number of expenses from a variety of additional providers.; our compassion does not stop when the ambulance ride is over.
